Age Gage - Adam

Today marks my first day back in Wauseon for the new decade. This is my first paper work session in my old stomping grounds and I gotta say it feels good to be back.

Lately a lot of events have been happening in my life that are making me stop and think about how old I am, and young. The first event that happened was my good friend Travis Smith this past week has officially graduated college with a four year degree. I sometimes still remember feeling nervous as a freshmen on my first day of High School that was 2002 which if you do the math as EIGHT years ago. The second event and this was is pretty awesome my good friend Jake Richards is now a
fiancé (which is not the same as a fiancée). These are two huge life changers I mean feels like just yesterday the three of us were planing for the JAT Tour 2007.

So this has got me thinking a lot (which can be both dangerous and rare). but I starting doing some math and I realized that if you are younger than 37 then that means the majority of your life you have spent as a minor, not an adult. Isn't that weird to think about? I mean once you turn 37 in my book that's the point where you have more experience being an adult than you do a minor

same goes for age 33 that's the point when you have had your drivers license longer than being without it (that is of course if you got your license when you were 16 and never got it taken away)

at age 43 you have been able to buy and drink beer legally for the majority of your life.

Isn't this weird to think about when you put it into perspective most parents when they start out have spent the majority of their lives as kids and being raised themselves.

I don't know just something I've been thinking about lately while I'm doing paper work. in other news Round 1 of the madness is in the books and I can't wait for round two to start up today
