Yesterday day I went to Brothers Bar & Grill for .10¢ wings which were amazing. Prior to leaving I was trying to scrounge up enough change for 20 wings, plus tip, plus Scott wanted me to pick her up 10 so all together four dollars in change. I had accumulated a large amount of change into a bag realizing that the waitress would hate me if I paid in pennies and dimes I headed to Scott's bank (Huntington Bank) to get the change turned into whole dollars, just four dollars is all.
I walked up to the counter set the four dollars on the counter and asked if I could have dollars for the change and the bank turned me down they would not do it for me.
allow me to rephrase that statement: The American Bank refused to take American Currency in exchange for the exact same monetary value...
how can they get away with that? I have money I go to a bank whose one purpose is money and they won't take it? Is there a difference in worth between 100 pennies and one paper dollar? If you answer anything other than no to that question I ask that you close out of this blog and drive to the nearest park or lake get out of the vehicle and take a nice long think about that. Then after some soul searching come back and see if you draw a different conclusion.
Banks that don't take money THAT MAKES NO SENSE! "oh Adam go to a coin star" a coin star? you want me to put my money into a machine then pay a fee and get less money out of it? Does that make any sense to anyone? What has the world come to where people will literally pay money to get their money changed into money? That is highway robbery.
For those of you that are curious a friend was kind enough to swap me a five dollar bill in exchange for a bag of five dollars in change. Plus there is no waitress at Brothers. But really good Wings WOW
