Prediction III - Adam

so the plan was to wait for Brian to post his response to Jacob's idea but as we all learn at some point in our lives there are just things in life that you can't control.

whenever I walk to class or at the gym or virtually anywhere else that I may go I see people with their ipod buds jammed in their ears. I've been noticing it for quite sometime now and because of it I can't help myself but think of predictions of the way the world is heading so here is another prediction of mine.

In the future people will have head phones in at all times allowing zero dead air. For this to happen I imagine at this point everything will be wireless as in you put your head phones in then switch to your ipod frequency then when you get a phone call answer it with a blue tooth like feature then once the call is over immediately back to ipod. school lectures will be pod casts. Go home or to a restaurant TV's will have a channel number you can switch to that channel to listen to it all while wearing your head phones. Giving you constant noise in your ears at all times

what if people want to talk to you? you might ask? simple I imagine the texting prediction has come true at this point so no need to listen to them simply read the message

  1. This may be your most realistic prediction to date. I could totally see it. We'll show our kids and grandkids pictures of us without earphones, and they will laugh and point and say "HA! You all looked so dumb back then"

  3. Mouths are a thing of the past my friend. Especially when we get the iphone brain implant app, everything will operate on brain waves. Thus also eliminating the need for ears.
