Nickle and Dime - Adam

Last week I cut a check for $111.36 and next week I will write another one for $325. Why do I write these checks? Its a life lesson I began to learn last fall. Bills, I realized something while I was sitting here on my throne and that fact is that for the rest of my life I will pay bills. Since September 2008 until I am worm food every month I will have to cut checks to utility companies. Doesn't that seem weird? Maybe not to older readers who have been paying the man for a long time now. But for me to realize that each month I will have a water, electric, gas, internet, and television bill its shocking. I'll also either be paying for rent or a loan depending on if its my house or an apartment. The man is going to nickle and dime me until I either go off the grid or bite it.
