Today Tyler Douglas Schuch turns a quarter of a century old
Women and Athletes:
So I have noticed a phenomenon since I have been on the campus of Ohio State. Women throw themselves at athletes. I have never seen my roommates flip out more than when Terrelle Pryor got out of his car while we were walking past on the side walk. But why? I can't get my roommates to watch a sporting event of any kind (other than dance...) with me if I paid them yet when they see Pryor they love it and it makes their day. Do they care that Terrelle this past season threw for 2094 yards and 18 touchdowns? Do they care that he rushed for 779 yards and 7 touchdowns? Do they care that he has helped us keep alive the longest winning streak against Michigan in the school's history or that he has helped us win five big ten titles in a row again a school record? No they don't care or know anything about any of these stats. so will someone please explain to me why is it that all women love Terrelle Pryor. Is it his intellect? Is it his charming smile? And I'm not limiting this to just Pryor this phenomenon happens all across the country and no one knows why and no one has thought about it. Well I think about it, I think about it alot. I like Pryor and I love Ohio State football and the kid just gave me a rose bowl win. If anything all the men at Ohio State should be jumping up and down screaming when he passes us in the oval we are the ones that appreciate how he has affected each of our lives.

not true. i watch sports with you all the time...for NO MONEY AT ALL. so stop complaining about that. everything else you said is basically true though. when you listed Terrelle's stats i totally skimmed over that part of the blog and just focused on the part about his charming smile.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see the guys jumping up and down and screaming at athletes. I call that entertaining.
ReplyDeleteAs for athletes? They've got muscles or something or other, I dunno. We're mysteries.
Kacie I still tell people about how I had a class across the hall from Malcolm Jenkins last year (especially every time he was mentioned in a little sporting event called THE SUPER BOWL). I get excited when I see a football player just not to the point of screaming (I have a great poker face). I'm also glad that you can admit the mystery that is the female mind.
ReplyDeleteas for Anonymous Anne: let me tell everyone reading these comments a story about Anne and I watching sports together we were watching the Vikings play the Cowboys and I was very excited because I really wanted Brett to win a super bowl and retire finally.
Adam - "man Brett is having the greatest season of his career and at 40 he has to be loving this, just look at how happy he is"
Anne - "yeah but you gotta wonder is he really happy? what about his personal life?"
Adam - "..."
i never claimed to understand, comprehend or really enjoy the sporting events. i just said that i DO watch sports with you for no money or any other compensation. so your point is....
