First off Sunday night I had a chimichonga from Cazuela's
Then last night I had a .99 cent chicken burrito and a .89 5 layer beefy burrito from the bell
what does this mean to you? not much but to me it means one powerful session of paper work that would bring any normal man to his knees in tears. fear not faithful readers this is just another day in Adam's diet.
I'm about six months away from finally receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree. Since I'm new to this whole deal I have some questions about the life change and transition that will occur.
people with their PHD always get to put that at the end of their names whenever they please. Doctors get to put Dr. in front of their name this begs the question do I get to put B.A. at the end of my name because honestly that would be bad ass (pun intended)
Mr. Adam C. Schuch B.A.
that's pretty sweet people will be whispering "does that mean he is a scholarly gentleman or a fellow I'd rather not get into a scrap with" to which I would reply both obviously. plus I meet a babe some place and I tell her "hello my name is Adam...I'm a Bachelor of Arts" thus obviously sparking her response of "oh you like art? how romantic and ridiculously handsome to boot"
my next question is what happens when I get married do I lose my Bachelor of Arts or does it transform into a Husband of Arts or perhaps a Spouse of Arts and do women who receive a degree (I know sounds far fetched) get a Bachelorette of Arts or Science?
well whatever the case I'm looking forward to putting B.A. at the end of my name. (I know technically I would be able to now for bad ass purposes but I'll hold off till the degree because that one didn't come naturally)

ReplyDeleteYour best blog yet, and nice work with fireworks. Good to see you've finally graduated from MS paint.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure this is the funniest thing I've read all week. But, when someone such as myself, gets their masters degree (mine will be a M.Ed.) does that get to stand for anything cool?

ReplyDeleteThis describes exactly what my response would be. And I think doctors or people with a PhD get a special title or special ending to their name because they did so much work in school (ie: more than just a bachelors). So I hate to break it to you, but I think you'd have to go to school longer to legitimately get something behind your name.
