Socks - Adam

"Constipation gives writers block a whole new meaning for you"
-Anne Fogarty

what is the purpose of socks? They protect your feet from shoes (which are feet protectors). Think about it... When shopping for socks there are few things too look for. Color, length, and that's about it. They are so simple and insignificant, yet if something goes wrong with your sock it will drive you insane. I have some low cut black shoes they are all I own. what is the one function a sock needs to do? ...stay up, and that's it its one function is to stay around my ankle. I hate it when socks fall down under your heel and in your shoe its irritating and not an easy fix. If you made socks don't you think in the year 2010 you could somehow invent some sort of elastic that had the power to stay around an ankle even during the largest bound? I mean what is stopping everyone from just using wash clothes as socks?...the elastic band of course. When I purchase socks there is no way of telling how good the band is going to be and as the consumer I have to blindly trust the sock industry to not lead you astray. I wish there was some new sock break through that could keep those puppies up. Or elastic band replacement kits so that you could get a nice tight comfortable fit giving the support you always wanted yet with the feel of an old sock. am I alone?

  1. I agree completely, however, whether the sock stays up or creeps down, there is no better feeling than a brand new pair of socks on my feet! Hope all is well with you!
